Commission agrees F Gas leak check procedure - 1/11/2007
The European Commission voting to accept a proposed standard leak check procedure under the F Gas Regulation at meetings in Brussels in October 2007. The procedure was developed following consultation with European representative organisations. The text of the procedure can be viewed at the ACRIB website by following this link. UK industry guidance is now under development and will be made available in due course.
Commission documentation on Labelling of New Equipment and Reporting Requirements for Producers of Refrigerant have also been agreed.
The minimum Training and Certification requirements under the F Gas Regulation are still being considered and clarification is likely to be available by mid December 2007.
