ACRIB is taking a lead on working with UK Government on the implementation of the European Fluorinated Gases Regulation which came into force on 4th July 2007. The requirements for leak checking procedures, labelling of new equipment, reporting of production and training and certification of individuals and companies have now been finalised by the Commission. Copies of the leak check procedure doucment agreed in October 2007 are now available below. The training and certification requirements were finalised by the Commission in Decmeber 2007 and the UK is now developing New Handling Assessments based on these for introduction in July 2008.
