How to Renew

If you have previously joined the register and your card has expired you can renew your registration here. You will need:

Your registration number
Two passport sized photos
Payment of £40 including VAT at 17.5% for three years registration
The original of an acceptable training certificate if you wish to register your new F gas training (see form for details)

Note: New GB F Gas Regulations require that operatives handling HFCs successfully complete one of the new F Gas assessments by 4^th July 2011. If you only hold one of the older refrigerant handling qualifications (City and Guildes 2078 or CITB J01 scheme) issued before 9th March 2009 you can still renewl your ACRIB card but this will only be valid for handling of F Gas Refrigerants up to 4th July 2011 therefore. Although you are legally qualified to handle Ozone Depleting refrigerants such as HCFC R-22 after this date so you will still have a three year validity for ODS refrigerant handling on the card.

If you hold one of the new qualifications City & Guilds 2079 part1 or CITB J11 your renewed card can be issued for a full three years from date of application but you must still submit the original of your new Certificate for verification purposes. If you wish to have this returned by Recorded Delivery there is an additional £2 charge.
