How to Join

If you have already achieved a certificate of Refrigerant Handling competence you can join the register now.

You will  need all of the following. Cards will not be issued if applications are not complete:

• Your original refrigerant handling qualification certificate* (photocopies are NOT acceptable) .
• Two passport sized photos
• Your National Insurance Number
• The Registration fee of £40 including VAT made payable to ACRIB. (if you are registering more than 10 in one batch a discount fee of £35 per registration is available)

Acceptable certificates are:

• City and Guilds 2078 Refrigerant Handling (for Ammonia Registration the 2077 is also acceptable)
• CITB Refrigerant Handling
